February 15, 1978 Winnipeg Jets vs Quebec Nordiques. 2-5 loss.
Mid-November, 1978 the Winnipeg Jets took Harvey Stewart on a short road trip as their backup goalie when Joe Daley suddenly had to leave the team to recover from stomach cramps. Local goalie Harvey Stewart had some pro experience but at the time was playing senior hockey with the East Kildonan-Elmwood Millionaires. Stewart dressed as backup to Markus Mattson in a loss against the Nordiques.
