  Bruce Landon dressed as a backup goalie with the Los Angeles Kings for a brief period when they were without regular goalie Gerry Desjardins, resting with a minor injury. Landon, a top prospect recalled from the Springfield Kings, dressed as a backup to Wayne Rutledge. 

  Landon spent most of his three years with the LA Kings playing for their Springfield AHL affiliate. He later found success and a home in the newly formed WHA with the New England Whalers.
