Luc Guenette

1 NHL Game

November 19, 1985 Quebec Nordiques vs Edmonton Oilers. 4-5 loss.

Luc Guenette was a two time QMJHL All-Star as a junior player with the Quebec Remparts. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in 1983 and later signed to an entry-level contract by Quebec.

Mid-November, 1985 Quebec Nordiques goalie Mario Gosselin was sidelined with a minor shoulder injury. Gosselin was forced to sit out one NHL game and Luc Guenette was recalled from the AHL to take his place. Guenette dressed as backup goalie to Clint Malarchuk in a game against Wayne Gretzky's Edmonton Oilers. The Nordiques lost 4-5 and the Great One netted a goal and an assist.
