Brandon Halverson

2 NHL Game

December 27, 2016 New York Rangers vs Ottawa Senators. 4-3 win.
March 9, 2017 New York Rangers vs Carolina Hurricanes. 3-4 loss.

The New York Rangers recalled Brandon Halverson for one game late October, 2016. Henrik Lundqvist was briefly sidelined with an illness as well as New York's usual AHL call up, Magnus Hellberg. "It was a very special day for me," Halverson said, dressing as backup to Antti Niemi. "I Knew I wasn't going to play, maybe there was a small chance, but I was just looking forward to getting the player's view of Madison Square Garden for the first time. It was unbelievable to see the amount of fans that were just staring at me in warmups. It kind of freaked me out a little. But it was special just to sit on the bench and talk to the guys. They all made me feel welcomed for the short time I was there"(1)
March, 2017 Brandon Halverson was recalled to the NHL on an emergency basis when Henrik Lundqvist was out day-to-day. Halverson dressed as backup to Antti Raanta.
