Tristan Jarry

4 NHL Games

April 13, 2016 Pittsburgh Penguins vs New York Rangers. 5-2 win.
April 16, 2016 Pittsburgh Penguins vs New York Rangers. 4-2 loss.
December 31, 2016 Pittsburgh Penguins vs Montreal Canadiens. 4-3 win.
January 8, 2016 Pittsburgh Penguins vs Tampa Bay Lightning. 6-2 win.

The Pittsburgh Penguins began their run to the 2016 Stanley Cup finals in rough shape at net. #1 and #2 goalies Marc-Andry Fleury and Matt Murray were sidelined with injuries. Jeff Zatkoff was thrown into the starting position and Tristan Jarry was recalled from the AHL to dress behind him. Jarry's first stint in the big leagues would be in the most pressing of situations, the beginning of the playoffs. Jarry was only needed for two games as Murray returned for the third contest of the series.

In Tristan Jarry's rookie season of junior hockey he was backup to future NHLer Lauren Brossoit on an Edmonton Oil Kings squad that made it to the 2012 Memorial Cup tournament. Two years later Jarry returned to the tournament, this time as Edmonton's starter and this time the Oil Kings won the whole tournament with Jarry backstopping them the whole way. The Pittsburgh Penguins, who drafted Jarry in the second round of the 2013 NHL draft, signed him in 2013 year to a three-year entry-level contract.

  • Wore #35 with Pittsburgh Penguins.
