Edward Pasquale was drafted by the defunct Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round of the 2009 NHL entry draft. May, 2010 the Thrashers signed Pasquale to a three-year, entry-level contract. He spent a year playing in the minors for Atlanta before following their franchise to Winnipeg in 2011.

Pasquale's second year with Winnipeg saw him reach the NHL. Mid-February, 2013 the Jets lost backup goalie Al Montoya to a lower body injury. He missed a seven game span during which Pasquale dressed as the Jets backup to Ondrej Pavelec. Roughly a month later, the Jets lost Al Montoya to another lower body injury. This time Pasquale dressed as Pavelec's backup for a 4 game span.

Pasquale became an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2013. The Jets opted to sign him to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2013/2014 season. He spent the entire year playing for Winnipeg's AHL team.

In the summer of 2014 Pasquale was traded from the Jets to the Washington Capitals. A handful of days later he signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Capitals.

  • Wore #32 with Winnipeg Jets
